Jake M. Lustig has been with Woody Law Firm for five years and became a partner in January 2020. He represents clients in divorce litigation, child custody disputes, post-decree modifications of child support and parental responsibilities, adoption, and child support enforcement matters. Mr. Lustig takes great pride in assisting parents and spouses through what can often be the most stressful and emotionally taxing experiences of their lives. Mr. Lustig is trained in the collaborative divorce practice and is licensed in both Colorado and Washington.
Mr. Lustig was born and raised in the Seattle area and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies before obtaining his Juris Doctor from the
University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Prior to law school, he worked as a legal assistant for Arrow Law Group in Seattle, WA. While in law school, Mr. Lustig served as the Treasurer of the Construction & Real Estate Law Society and was a member of the Jewish Law Students Association and the Sports & Entertainment Law Society, in addition to having interned at the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and Woody Law Firm. Mr. Lustig currently serves as a professional mentor for law students at University of Denver.
In his free time, Mr. Lustig enjoys cooking, playing bluegrass music, and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. He is an avid fan of Seattle sports and devotes a portion of every summer to his fantasy baseball team.
