Ms. McGee grew up in Lexington, Virginia and stayed close to home for her undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech. There she received her B.A. in History with a concentration in Social, Cultural, and Economic History. After graduation, during a gap year, she volunteered at a local history museum and campaigned for a delegate’s reelection. She then moved to Colorado and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in May 2023. During law school, Ms. McGee was a student attorney for the Community and Economic Development Clinic, where she assisted nonprofits and small business owners in business law issues and business development. She also explored various areas of law through her internships, including administrative law, employment law, business law, and family law. Through these experiences, she discovered her passion for assisting families and working through complex asset divisions.
In her free time, Ms. McGee enjoys baking, traveling, and playing with her pup, Poppy.
