Ms. McDonald is an associate attorney specializing in Colorado family law. Ms. McDonald’s practice covers all aspects of divorce and family law including division of property, maintenance, child support, allocation of parenting time and decision-making, domestic violence, orders of protection, and adoption matters.
Ms. McDonald grew up in Littleton, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado Denver in 2018, earning her B.A. in Criminal Justice with minors in Political Science and Legal Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in December 2021. During law school, Ms. McDonald earned a certificate in Constitutional Rights and Remedies. She graduated with Public Good Distinction after dedicating her studies to pro bono work. During law school, Ms. McDonald interned with Colorado Mental Health, researching various policy initiatives to increase public access to mental health services. Throughout law school and after graduation, Ms. McDonald gained litigation experience while interning with the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office and working in the University of Denver Criminal Defense Clinic.
When she is not in the office, Ms. McDonald enjoys reading, exploring Colorado with her dog, and trying new Denver restaurants.
